ADHD/IEP Tutoring
Mindful Learning Co. specializes in tutoring and academic coaching for students with IEPs and ADHD/Neurodivergence, dyslexia, and dyscalculia (which may or may not also include an IEP for the given student).
We use specific tutoring/executive functioning strategies to help students with these profiles succeed in the classroom and on standardized tests. These strategies account for an individual student's learning experience and the most effective learning methods based on their cognitive profile. For students with ADHD/Neurodivergence, that includes taking into account factors such as focus, procrastination, overwhelm, and self-belief and how these impact learning and performance.
We have experience helping IEP students get into top US high schools as well as improving letter grades and overall academic performance, and we believe no student should struggle or have fewer opportunities because they have a unique learning profile.
We do not view ADHD/Neurodivergence, dyslexia, dyscalculia, etc. as any kind of disadvantage when it comes to student capability or potential for success. Most schools simply do not format curriculum and instruction for these learning profiles. But that's where Mindful Learning Co. comes in!
